Kick the Habit

A recent FORBES article discusses the topic of how some Americans Quit Smoking with E-Cigarettes. E-cigarettes are not smoking cessation devices but according to recent data from GfK MRI Survey of the American Consumer®, the reality might reflect a different picture. According to the data many of the Americans that used or tried E-Cigarettes were Millennials.
The FORBES article continues to highlight:

If you compare usage of e-cigarettes with that of regulated smoking cessation methods you find that 8% of adults who smoked cigarettes in the last 12 months used these devices to try to kick the habit. This is second only to “cold turkey” (11% of adult smokers) and higher than the percentage of patches (6%), pills (5%) and gum (4%). Not a bad track record for relatively new devices. Smoking cessation brands like Chantix, NicoDerm and Nicorette are in a basic dead heat for percentage of adult smokers’ use: 3%.

You can explore the full article from FORBES on how many Americans Kick the Habit with the help of e-cgarettes and e-hookahs!
